Why Make the Commitment to Sunday Worship and Being Involved in Church?
When we go to church, we are not only worshiping God, but we are also building community with other believers. We are learning together, growing together, and supporting each other. This is an important part of our Christian walk.
Here are some specific ways that going to church can help us thank God, give praise and worship to God, support other Christians, and make a difference in the world:
• Thanking God: When we gather as a church, we can come together to thank God for all He has done for us. We can sing songs of praise, pray, and listen to sermons that teach us more about God's love and faithfulness.
• Giving Praise and Worship to God: Worship is a way of expressing our love and gratitude to God. When we worship, we are lifting our hearts and voices to Him in praise. We also acknowledge His greatness and His power.
• Supporting Other Christians: When we go to church, we are surrounded by other believers who are on the same journey as us. We can encourage each other, pray for each other, and help each other grow in our faith.
• Making a Difference in the World: When we go to church, we are not only learning about God and His Word, but we are also learning how to apply it to our lives. We are learning how to love our neighbors, serve others, and make a difference in the world.
Enjoy your weekend! We are looking forward to seeing you on Sunday!

Love, Fr. Dale and Pastor Mark
