The kids finish up at the worship service, coming back during the Lord’s Prayer. You are welcome to bring friends! Mark your calendar for The School of Change Wednesdays: March 1, 8, 15 and 22 @ 7:00 pm
Change can be difficult, but it does not have to be. Often the difficulty is in the perspective or how we look at change. Change in behavior, outlook and attitude is a process. We don’t know where we are going and the “in between” often feels messy - like a Holy Collision.
Change your life. God’s kingdom is here. Matthew 4:17 MSG

We had an excellent meeting about The Guadalupe Trip to Mexico that is taking place in December 2023. A number of people have signed up and spots are limited. For more information, please contact Fr. Dale in the office.

For the next few weeks, we will be running a series entitled, “Meet the PWC Deacons,” hopefully, this will give you a better opportunity to know our deacons and how they can minister to you.

Meet the Deacons
Deacon Sharon Trischan
I am a convert to Catholicism. It stays close to my heart in my ministry at Praise and Worship. My love for ministry flourished at St. Timothy’s. I was selected by lot to the first Pastoral Council there and was selected several times by lot after that.
My greatest ministry there, however, was being among the first women altar servers there. John and I made the transition to PWC before there was a PWC, as part of a group that organized our current Worship Community. The desire to be heavily involved was instrumental in becoming the Deacon of Worship.
The ministry involved being active on the worship committee, organizing Eucharistic ministers and involving community members in participating in the prayers of the faithful weekly.
I now consider myself retired as we travel often, but I try to assist in small opportunities to serve when and where needed. It is my hope to unretire in 2024.
My academic background is in Education. My undergrad degree is in elementary education with a minor in business. I also hold a Master of Education degree in Education Curriculum, and a Master of Education degree in in Education Leadership.
Please know that I pray for our community and our pastors daily.

Your giving to the PWC ministry makes a difference in how we can minister to others. Due to your tithing, we are able, many times, to meet the needs of those in our community who are experiencing spiritual, emotional, and physical concerns. From pastoral counseling to grief support, to Bible Study, to Adult Education, to providing food through Matthew’s Crossing for families who are economically struggling to PWC Kids and Marriage Enrichment and our funeral ministry; your consistent giving makes a difference, a big change in people’s lives!
|
Here are the different ways you can tithe to PWC:
|
• Mail in your gift to: Praise and Worship Center, 2551 N. Arizona Avenue, Chandler, AZ 85225.
|
• Sign up for monthly giving with a credit card or voided check. Just call the office at 480-649-0300 or stop by the office.

Praise and Worship Never Ends, It Must be Lived! Let us go forth to love and serve the Lord. Thanks Be to God! Alleluia! Alleluia! This was the message of a recent homily by Fr. Dale. As members of the PWC community we have a Christian responsibility to be present to one another and to support each other on our faith journey with Jesus. Being a Christian is not a “Me and Jesus Experience,” but a “We and Jesus Experience.” One of the best ways we can do this is to be present at Sunday worship. If you have been lax in your Sunday commitment, we would ask you to bring it to prayer and ask our Lord to guide you. Our Facebook broadcast should only be for if you are sick, homebound, or out of town. We look forward to seeing you on Sunday morning at 10:00 am and praying as a community!
|
Please note these two important dates for next week:
|
• The church office will be closed this Monday, February 20 for President’s Day.
|
• Lent begins this Wednesday, February 22 with Ash Wednesday. There will be a service at 9:00 am. Ashes will be available in the church from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.
|
May your weekend be a restful one, see you on Sunday at 10:00 am!

Love, Fr. Dale and Pastor Mark
