Dear Friend,

Happy New Year!
May your New Year be rooted in Jesus’ peace & joy. Can you believe we are coming up on 2023?

The scripture reading for this Sunday, January 1, the Feast of Mary, Mother of God, is Luke 2:16-21. Here is a synopsis of the reading: The shepherds find Jesus in a manger in Bethlehem. Please come to Sunday worship prepared to hear the Word of God proclaimed; we invite you to read the scripture passage before service. The music for this Sunday can be found on the top-right hand corner of our website.

Congratulations to Joe and Cathy Sesniak who won our Christmas Raffle, they received $2200.00!!!
Thank you to all those who purchased Christmas Raffle Tickets, we raised $4400.00 with half going to PWC and the other half going to the Sesniaks. The Christmas Raffle helps support the work of PWC and its many ministries.

The church office will be closed this Monday, January 2 as well as Monday, January 16 for Martin Luther King Day.

It is 40% off Christmas items in the Cross Shop! We have lots of wonderful items in our gift shop! Volunteers Needed for PWC Kids! As we move through the Christmas season and into New Year, let’s remember to show our support to our children’s community. Starting in January 2023, we need volunteers on Sundays from 9:15am – 10:45am to assist with the kids. Please sign up after church at the front desk or contact our children’s minister, Rachel at [email protected]. We truly appreciate your time and service.

Mark your calendar for Saturday, January 21, 2023, this date will be the next meeting of the Brother’s Ministry and Women’s Bible Study from 9:00 am to 10:30 am.

Please consider making a year end donation to the Praise and Worship Center and thank you for your tithing. It is vital for you to know your giving allows PWC to meet the spiritual, emotional, and physical needs of our community and our surrounding community as well! From pastoral counseling to grief support, to Bible Study, to Adult Education, to providing food through Matthew’s Crossing for families who are economically unstable to PWC Kids and Marriage Enrichment; your consistent giving makes a difference, a big difference!
