Dear Friend,

With all that is going on in the world, it is important to remember you are a child of God, created good and holy! The problem lies in the fact there seems to be an abundance of proof in our world to conclude humankind is profoundly flawed from the beginning of time. The good news about humanity is found in the story of creation in Genesis 1. We are created in very image and likeness of God out of generative love. This is an undeniably promising, optimistic, and affirmative foundation of who we inheritably are. Please allow yourself sometime this weekend to reflect on this sacred and holy affirmation about your goodness.

We look forward to seeing you in person at Sunday Service at 10:00 am, if your health permits. It is important for you to be a public witness of your faith in Jesus Christ. You do that by being present on Sunday.

Our scripture reading for this Sunday, October 31, Mark 12:28b-34. Here is a summary of the reading from Mark: Jesus is questioned by a scribe about the greatest commandment.

Please read, reflect, and pray with the passage before Sunday. The music for this Sunday can be found on the top-right hand corner of our website or below.
