Dear Friend,

We look forward to seeing you this Sunday at 10:00 am for our service. If possible, it is important that you are worshipping with us in person. As Christians we come to Sunday service, not just for ourselves, but to give public witness to our faith and the importance of Jesus Christ in our lives to our fellow community members at PWC.

Our scripture reading for this Sunday, September 26 is 9:38-43, 45, 47-48. Here is a summary of the reading from Mark: Jesus teaches that whoever is not against him is for him.

Please read, reflect, and pray with the passage before Sunday. The music for this Sunday can be found on the top-right hand corner of our website or below.

FYI, the Delta variant is affecting those who are both vaccinated and unvaccinated. For Sunday service we are going to socially distance the chairs in church and strongly recommend we wear masks.

Join us tomorrow, Saturday morning for our Prayer Retreat. Our theme is Complete Dependence on God: Serving Others. Join several of our deacons for this inspiring morning from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm in Building 412. You won’t want to miss this opportunity to pray and grow in your relationship with Jesus!

We had a great response to our first class on the book Emotionally Healthy Spirituality! Thank you to all those who participated. If you missed the first class you can watch it on Facebook and join us for the rest of the classes. Here is some information: Father Dale and members of our community will lead the class. Here are the rest of the dates: Wednesdays September 29, October 6, 13, and 20. The class will run from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

In the past month 0ur collections are down, those who have contributed in the past have not been giving. PWC has expenses we must meet every month so that we can continue our ministry of bringing others to Jesus Christ. Our ministries are dependent on the financial stewardship of community members. If you have stopped or been lax in your giving, ask the Lord to guide you in prayer.
Here are the different ways you can tithe to PWC:

If you are in town, we look forward to seeing you in person on Sunday at 10:00 am. It is so vital we support one another in our Christian faith and gather as a community for worship every Sunday. It is important to remember when Jesus began his public ministry, he brought people together. Jesus realized being a follower of “The Way” would not be easy and we would need the physical and spiritual support of one another as part of a community

Fr. Dale and Pastor Mark
