Dear Friend,

Join us tonight In-Person or on Facebook Live at 7:00 pm for our adult education class on the book Emotionally Healthy Spirituality. The book sells for $18.99; our price is only $16.00. You can still sign up tonight for the class, just come a little early! The cost of the sessions is $15.00, and it includes another book. If there is an issue with payment, please know scholarships are available. Father Dale and members of our community will lead the class. Here are the dates of the sessions: tonight, September 22 and then September 29, October 6, 13, and 20. Here is the link to the PWC Facebook Page.

Peter Scazzero, the author of Emotionally Healthy Spirituality says, “When emotional health and contemplative spirituality are interwoven together in an individual’s life, a small group, a church …or community, people’s lives are dramatically transformed.” Please come and join us for Contemplative Prayer in person at PWC or Zoom each Wednesday evening @ 6:00pm prior to the school of Emotionally Healthy Spirituality. Here is the ZOOM LINK.

If you are in town, we look forward to seeing you in person on Sunday at 10:00 am. It is so vital we support one another in our Christian faith and gather as a community for worship every Sunday. It is important to remember when Jesus began his public ministry, he brought people together. Jesus realized being a follower of “The Way” would not be easy and we would need the physical and spiritual support of one another as part of a community.

Put this on your Saturday Morning Calendar! Our next Prayer Retreat is this Saturday, September 25. Our theme is Complete Dependence on God: Serving Others. Join several of our deacons for this inspiring morning from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm in Building 412.

The first Brothers’ Ministry meeting is Saturday, October 2 at 9:00 am in Building 412 with Dr. Skip Watters, who will talk about men’s health. All men of the PWC are invited and you are most welcome to bring a friend or two!

The Women’s Bible Study will be starting up again on Saturday, October 2 at 9:00 am. The topic for the October 2 session is: Why Do Bad Things Happen to Good People. We will meet in the church.

Thank you to all those who bought red roses this past Sunday, they sold out very quickly!!!! We look forward to providing flowers for purchase again soon to our community. Flowers are always a fantastic way to brighten up your life!

Want to listen again to a Sunday sermon that inspired you, go to our PWC Podcasts Page.

Are you homebound? If so, Deacon John Null can bring you communion. The only exception is if you have or are recovering from Covid. The best way to get in touch with Deacon John is by contacting the church office, at 480-649-0300, and leaving a message.

If you are sick and in need of meals while you are sick, Dawn Paschke, Deacon Dennis’ wife, will be coordinating this ministry. To leave a message for Dawn, please call the church office at 480-649-0300.

In the past month our collections are down, those who have contributed in the past have not been giving. PWC has expenses we must meet every month so that we can continue our ministry of bringing others to Jesus Christ. Our ministries are dependent on the financial stewardship of community members. If you have stopped or been lax in your giving, ask the Lord to guide you in prayer.
Here are the different ways you can tithe to PWC:
Mail in your gift to: Praise and Worship Center, 2551 N. Arizona Avenue, Chandler, AZ 85225.
Donate on our web page: Donation Form
Sign up for monthly giving with a credit card or voided check. Just call the office at 480-649-0300

Please pray for those who are struggling in our community, city, country, and world. May they in some way, experience the peace of Jesus.

If you ever need us, we are here for you. We are only a phone call away.

Fr. Dale and Pastor Mark
