Dear Friend,

THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! PWC is an awesome Christian community and you ALWAYS come through! We had a wonderful response to our plea for cereal for Matthew’s Crossing for Father’s Day. Your commitment donating cereal will go a long way for those families who are experiencing food insecurity. Keep up the good and holy work! We collected over 1100 boxes of cereal!!!!

Our Prayer Retreat is this Saturday, June 25 at 10:00 am in Building 4:12. Join members of our deacon community deacon for this inspirational and motivating morning. Our theme for our prayer retreat is Praying for Revival in the World.

PWC Kids is this Sunday, June 26 beginning at 9:30 am in Building 4:12. This interactive bible study will focus on the Gospel reading that is proclaimed to the adults at worship. This is an incredible opportunity for children ages four through fifth grade to learn about Jesus. Parents, grandparents, aunts, and uncles: mark your calendar for this Sunday. The kids finish up at the worship service, coming back during the Lord’s Prayer. You are welcome to bring friends! Contact our children’s minister, Tami Heinl for more information, Tami can be reached at [email protected] or at the church office: 480-649-0300.

We are growing PWC Kids and need your help! Calling all volunteers who have a heart for Jesus and who love kids! We want a few beautiful souls who can help on Sunday mornings from 9:30 am to 10:30 am in Building 4:12. We need one volunteer each Sunday and our goal is to have enough people to rotate every eight to 12 weeks. Please email Tami Heinl, at [email protected] or at the church office at 480-649-0300. Thank you for your support and prayers and we look forward to serving TOGETHER!

Seeking to Listen! It feels like right now we live in a world where we just talk over each other. Everyone seems to have strong opinions and they think they are always correct. In many ways we have lost the art of respectful listening. In July, we are going to be taking on some different and difficult issues where people have strong opinions. Our goal is not to verbally beat one another up, but to respectfully hear what people have to say. If you have an issue you would like to see discussed, please call the church office at 480-649-0300 and leave a message. Please mark your calendar for these dates: July 13, 20, & 27 at 7:00 pm.

Hopefully, now that the hot summer months have hit us, you are keeping cool and have a little more time on your hands. Now would be an excellent time to do some summer spiritual reading. Check out the library for some valuable reading material or the Cross Shop has some new and exciting spiritual reading material. There is a new book in the Cross Shop that was just ordered called Understanding Christianity by Rosemary Drage Hale. It is an excellent read and is only $15.95

Our website reflections inspire every week! On Mondays a new reflection comes out each week written by members of our community. Click on our Weekly Reflection Tile and be nourished. Here is the link: Weekly Reflections Page. This week is Deacon Cheryl Armstrong and next week is Pastor Mark Dippre.

Fr. Mike Lessard is available for pastoral counseling on Monday and Wednesday mornings. Please call the church office to make an appointment at 480-649-0300. Fr. Mike is an excellent resource!

Our June calendar is online; please take advantage of all the wonderful opportunities at PWC: PWC June Calendar. July’s calendar is coming soon.

Are you homebound? If so, Deacon John Null can bring you communion. The only exception is if you have or are recovering from Covid. The best way to get in touch with Deacon John is by contacting the church office, at 480-649-0300, and leaving a message.

If you are sick and in need of meals while you are sick, Dawn Paschke, Deacon Dennis’ wife, will be coordinating this ministry. To leave a message for Dawn, please call the church office at 480-649-0300.

We want to pray for you! PWC has a prayer chain committee who will lift you and your loved ones in prayer. Please go to our prayer website: Prayer request Form.

Were you inspired by a sermon and want to hear it again? Go to our podcast page and check it out, there you will find a years’ worth of Sunday Sermons.

Your tithing during the summer has been incredible, thank you! As you know many in our community go away for the summer to cooler locations. Your continued giving allows the ministry of the Praise and Worship Center to continue during these hot summer months. The work of the Lord and our community does not stop during the summer; people still need to be ministered to on a daily basis. Thank you for your commitment to the Praise and Worship Center. If you have been remiss in you giving, please bring it to prayer and ask the Lord to guide you.
Here are the different ways you can tithe to PWC:
Mail in your gift to: Praise and Worship Center, 2551 N. Arizona Avenue, Chandler, AZ 85225.
Donate on our web page: Donation Form.
Sign up for monthly giving with a credit card or voided check. Just call the office at 480-649-0300 or stop by the office.

Please pray for peace in our world and for those who are experiencing economic hardship in our community.

Love,
Fr. Dale and Pastor Mark
