If you can believe this, Lent begins with Ash Wednesday on February 17. Here is what we are planning: Drive thru Distribution of Ashes; ashes will be available all day from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, and you do not need to get out of your car! We will also have a service in the church at 7:00 pm in person or on Facebook Live. Our theme for Lent 2021 is Lord Make Me an Instrument of Your Peace. Don’t forget to check your mailbox, we are sending you a postcard with Ash Wednesday information.

We have lots of new items in the Cross Shop, especially the new St. Francis statues. They are beautiful and inspiring, plus we have some new crosses from Billy Templeton. The Cross Shop is open on Sunday mornings and throughout the week during regular office hours. You can stop by and know that you are safe by socially distancing.

We are constantly updating our website, we have a number of spiritual resources, please check it out: https://www.praiseandworshipcenter.net/

Check out the link to the PWC calendar for the rest of January, February, and the beginning of March: Calendar of Events. Due to Covid-19 and with so much uncertainty, we are only planning month to month.

Pastoral counseling is something you might find beneficial. Fr. Mike Lessard is in the office on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. The response to our prayer ministry has been incredible! Our Prayer Ministry here at PWC wants to pray for you. If you, a loved one or friend needs prayer, please go to this page: Prayer Request form.

Your tithing to the PWC makes a difference in the lives of so many people. Your giving, even in these difficult times of Covid-19, permits us to continue to minister to those who are struggling with food insecurity, economic issues, loneliness, and sickness. It also allows outreach through our social media ministry! Thank you for living out your call as a member of the Body of Christ! You can tithe in one of three ways:
Mail in your gift to: Praise and Worship Center, 2551 N. Arizona Avenue, Chandler, AZ 85225.
Donate on our web page: Donation Form.
Sign up for monthly giving with a credit card or voided check. Just call the office at 480-649-0300.

There is so much going on in our world and so many people who are in need of prayer. Let us continue to remember all hospital workers who are assisting those who are so sick with Covid-19 and other health issues. We lift up parents who have children in school, and the difficulties they have with trying to educate their children as well as navigate work priorities. We also remember teachers who have the challenge of trying to educate our young people either online, in-person or both. Finally, we implore the Lord to guide those who are charged with the distribution of the Covid-19 vaccine.

We are looking forward to seeing you this Sunday morning at 10:00 in church or on Facebook Live.

Fr. Dale and Pastor Mark
