Dear Friend,

Mark your calendar this for Sunday, December 20 from 11:30 am –1:00 pm for our “Christmas Drive By.” See our new Outdoor Nativity Scene, greet our pastors, receive a Christmas gift from the community, and have the opportunity to drop off your Christmas Tithing. We are looking forward to seeing you!

Speaking of Nativity scenes, we want you to send us a picture of your home Nativity scene so we can post it on our website. We would like to share it with the rest of the PWC community. Email the picture to Kevin at kmcgloin@pwcaz.net. Here is a link to the Nativity pictures we have so far: Photos > Nativity Photos.

Our in-person services continue this coming Sunday, December 20 at 10:00 am for the Fourth Sunday of Advent. Social distancing guidelines will apply. The chairs are socially distanced, and everyone will need to wear a mask. Masks and hand sanitizer will be available at our entrances. If you are planning on attending in-person, please do not arrive until after 9:30 am.

Our scripture reading for Sunday is Hebrews 9:24-28. Please read, reflect, and pray with the passage before Sunday. The music for this Sunday can be found on the top right-hand corner of our website or below.

On Facebook Live we will continue to live stream our Sunday services if you do not feel comfortable attending in person. Please do what is best for you. To participate in our service online, go to: PWC website and find the Facebook button and find Facebook at the top of our home page.

All Christmas items are now 20% off, including a wide selection of Nativity scenes, which you can purchase and then send us a picture of it. PWC is also selling See’s Candy. We have Christmas candy, peanut brittle, and lollipops. Supplies are limited. Come by and browse all the inspirational books and gifts we have. There is plenty of space during the week in the Cross Shop to socially distance.

Thank you to those who continue to give through your tithing. Your giving allows PWC to minister during these trying times of Covid-19. Your generosity allows us to reach out to the poor and hungry through I-Help and Matthew’s Crossing. Your tithing is allowing us to build our new social media ministry which gives us an opportunity to spread the Gospel message of Jesus Christ to those who are social distancing. If you have not been tithing, we would ask you to bring it to prayer and ask the Lord to guide you. Thank you for your generosity! You can tithe in one of three ways:
Mail in your gift to: Praise and Worship Center, 2551 N. Arizona Avenue, Chandler, AZ 85225.
Donate on our web page: Donation Form.
Sign up for monthly giving with a credit card or voided check. Just call the office at 480-649-0300.

It is important for us to remember during this time of Covid-19, many people are struggling and suffering. From economic hardship, to unemployment and those experiencing Covid-19; it is vital for us as members of the Body of Christ to be Jesus to these people and lift them up in prayer. As a community, we pray for all hospital and essential workers. We also remember those who are charged with the distribution of the vaccine.

We are looking forward to seeing you this Sunday morning at 10:00 am in church or on Facebook Live.

Fr. Dale and Pastor Mark
