Dear Friend,

If you were not able to pick up The Advent Prayer Devotional at church, they were mailed out this week and you should be receiving the book soon. It is a beautiful prayer book created by members of our church community to assist you in developing a deeper relationship with Jesus during the Advent Season. Additional copies can be purchased in The Cross Shop for $4.00.

We are now collecting cereal for Matthew’s Crossing through Thanksgiving, Thursday, November 26. We ask you to be generous in your giving to those who are lacking food, especially children, during this pandemic. You can drop your cereal off during office hours.

Mark your calendars for our January Overnight Retreat in Chandler at the Hilton Garden Inn. The dates are Friday and Saturday, January 8 and 9. Details are coming!

Thank you to those who continue to give through your tithing. Your giving allows PWC to minister during these trying times of Covid-19. Your generosity allows us to reach out to the poor and hungry through I-Help and Matthew’s Crossing. Your tithing is allowing us to build our new social media ministry which gives us an opportunity to spread the Gospel message of Jesus Christ to those who are social distancing. If you have not been tithing, we would ask you to bring it to prayer and ask the Lord to guide you.
You can give in one of three ways:
Mail in your gift to: Praise and Worship Center, 2551 N. Arizona Avenue, Chandler, AZ 85225.
Donate on our web page: Donation Form.
Sign up for monthly giving with a credit card or voided check; just call the office at 480-649-0300.

We will continue having in-person services this coming Sunday, November 22 at 10:00 am. Social distancing guidelines will apply. The chairs are socially distanced and everyone will need to wear a mask. Masks and hand sanitizer will be available at our entrances. We will continue to live stream our Sunday services on Facebook Live if you do not feel comfortable attending in person. Please do what is best for you and makes you feel safe. If you are planning on attending in-person, please do not arrive until after 9:30 am.

As the infection rates of Covid-19 rise in our state and country, we pray for those who are sick and suffering. We also remember their caregivers, as well as doctors, nurses and hospital staff who are working so diligently to help heal them.

Fr. Dale and Pastor Mark
