Dear Friend,

It was great to see so many of you In-Person and on Facebook Live for our Pentecost celebration. PWC sure looks good in red! It was truly a revival, a service rooted in the power of the Holy Spirit! We are invited and called to live out the gifts of the Holy Spirit in our lives!

Congratulations to Dennis Paschke, our newest deacon, who was ordained on Pentecost Sunday! Dennis will be a great addition to our diaconate ministry, seeking to bring even more people closer to Jesus through his ministry to Recovery Cafe. Please keep Dennis in your prayers as he begins his service to the PWC community and those struggling with addictions and their families. What a powerful witness talk Dennis gave on Sunday morning!

If you missed our teaching on the Holy Spirit last Wednesday, May 19, you can always watch it online. To watch it, find the Facebook button at the top of the PWC website. Father Dale, Pastor Mark, and Father Mike Lessard did a great job talking about and discussing the Holy Spirit. It was a very inspiring evening and John Nichols did a wonderful job leading us in music!

Our May Prayer Retreat is this Saturday, May 29 at 10:00 am in Building 412. Our theme is Complete Dependence of God: Trust God for the Outcome. Several of our deacons are leading it and it promises to be a spiritually uplifting morning.

This Sunday, May 30, we will be passing out bags to members of our community to purchase peanut butter for those who are served by Matthew’s Crossing. We are asking you to return the bags with peanut butter on Sundays, June 6, 13, or 20. Peanut butter is the most requested item for the homeless and food insecure because it is a good source of protein. The peanut butter collection is in honor of Father’s Day. Please write your dad’s name, living or deceased, on the bag and we will honor them on Father’s Day!

Our “Welcome Back Sidewalk Sale” continues before and after our service. All sale items are 50% off! This is the last weekend!

In Person Bible Study Returns in June: Join us on Sunday mornings, June 6, 13, 20, & 27 from 8:45 am to 9:30 am for Bible Study with Fr. Dale in Building 412. Please put this on your calendars.

Please go to our May and June calendars and check out all the activities going on at: PWC Calendar. Now that more and more people are being vaccinated, now is the time to get back involved!

Every week on our website we offer a new reflection, this week’s reflection is written by Tom Cutrera: PWC Weekly Reflections. You can also check out past inspirational reflections as well. Next week Pastor Mark will be providing his insights!

Did you miss a Sunday sermon or want to be inspired again during the week? Please check out our: PWC podcast page.

Thank you for your tithing and your support of PWC! Your tithing allows us to minister to those searching to grow in their relationship with Jesus. It also allows PWC to minister to the vulnerable in our community; those who are struggling with relationships, food insecurity and job loss. You can tithe in one of three ways:
